十場天伸 / Tenshin Juba

1981年生まれ。兵庫県神戸市を拠点に作陶されています。
学生時代に出会ったスリップウェアを一貫して作り続けながらも、常に様々な事柄に挑戦する姿に無限の可能性を感じる作家です。近年では穴窯などによる炎によって左右される器の景色に魅了され、焼き締めや漆を使用した作品などにも力を入れています。独学で学んできた技術ならではの工夫も沢山あり、作品からはそんな十場さんのチャレンジ精神を感じ取る事ができます。

Tenshin Juba

Born in 1981. He lives and works in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture.
While consistently producing slipware, which he first encountered when he was a student, he is an artist who sees infinite possibilities in the way he constantly challenges various things. In recent years, he has been fascinated by the scenery of vessels affected by the flames of anagama kilns, and has been focusing on works using yakishime and lacquer. He is a self-taught artist with a lot of ingenuity, and you can feel his challenging spirit in his works.
