成田周平 / Shuhei Narita

1989年生まれ。現在は愛知県豊明市を拠点に活動。
岐阜県多治見市で陶芸を学んだ後、陶芸家のアシスタントとして数年間働いたことが現在の作品づくりにおいての礎となります。土の塊のような肉厚な造形は、原始的でありながらも現代の生活に馴染めるように様々な工夫が凝らしてあります。

Shuhei Narita

He was born in 1989 and currently lives and works in Toyoake City, Aichi Prefecture.
After studying ceramics in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture, he worked as a potter's assistant for several years, which became the foundation for his current work. His works are thickly formed like a lump of clay, but they are pristine and yet are designed to fit in with modern life.
