・⁡文通作品について
elementsのメンバーは、「積む、束ねる」という行為をものづくりの入門的な行為と捉え、リサーチとスタディを繰り返すことによって、複数人で「思考を積むこと・束ねること」の可能性に気付きます。

作品は、メンバー間で意図を伝えないまま一つの部材を送り、各々で一手部材を加えたものをまた送り合うという文通のような方法で製作されています。
このような実験的な製作方法で、メンバー間でモノを通して思考の対話を重ね、作為的ではないオブジェ作品を生み出しました。
⁡ ポラロイド写真で過程を記録することによりプロセスを可視化しています。

“elements”は、ものづくりをするプロセスにおいて、私たちの周りに存在する様々な現象や要素を探求していくプロジェクトです。
それは、私たちがこの世界とどのように関わってきたのかを解剖し、自分たちも世界のひとつのエレメントであることを実感する試みでもあります。
